Good night

Mr. B and I are enjoying our evening in bed with some very hilarious "Top Gear (UK)". They are in South America and what a great adventure. Definatly recommend this show, your man will love it, and you'll get some good laughs too.

Movie Tickets

I recenlty discovered through my work that we can get AMC and REGAL movie tickest for $7.00 (with no tax), each! What a great deal, and they never expire. I've even used them to see IMAX at Tysons Corner! So I definatly have been giving some away to family and friends.

And with Transformers 3, Harry Potter and Cars 2 coming out this summer we can definatly afford to splurge and see our favorite sequels.

Also we are planning to go to Six Flags for only $24 each thanks to work as well during July 4th weekend!

Walks with my love

Fortunately Mr. B and I live in a lovely neighborhood that has plenty of walking paths. We have our one path that we are nightly committed to. Since our dog, Sydney should be out running on a daily basis but hasn't been recently, this nice long path keeps her exhausted when we get home (plus I'm pretty sure the humidity helps us).

And within these paths tend to be small playgrounds, luckily there is one with swings on our way home. I love PLAYGROUNDS! It's the one way I can feel free and like a kid again. So usually if it's not too buggy we'll end up swinging for a little bit. Sydney does have to be tied up so she can't get underneath of us (we learned this the first time when she got behind Mr. B and he accidently kicked her ).

It's so nice coming home and having time set aside for each other, a walk with your family is enjoyable, relaxing and it gets us doing more things together.

Also I recently found out that my boss' daughter lives along our path close to our house, I can't wait to  spot them outside so we can meet some friendly faces.

An Evening well spent

Happy Father's Day!

Last night we went to my parents house to celebrate father's day, we had a wonderful dinner accompanied with appellation wines. A Bordeaux from France.

We started the evening off helping prepare the meal, and Mr. B got to grill the filet mignon, my mom likes it well done and the rest of us like it medium rare (so he did a great job!). He loved his new Life Factory water bottle (and I knew mom would want to borrow it so I got her one as well, in pink), bamboo bowls for when they go to Wolf Trap, and an Alsatian Riesling.

Before dinner we got a tour of what is new to their garden...

And a very sweet surprise of baby bunnies

We had mini crab cakes, salad and a dry Gewurztraminer. While Mr. B finished up at the grill, and for the humidity and keeping the bugs away, all you need is a house fan.

The filets were perfect and tender, and the grilled asparagus, sauteed mushrooms and caramelized onions were a perfect pairing.

After Dinner we enjoyed a nice long walk with both our pups, Sydney is ours (an Australian Shepherd/ black-tri), and Foster is my parents (chow chow mix and Keeshond).

After dinner we enjoyed homemade strawberry pie, back on their deck we enjoyed their energy glowing lights, and rope lights. We love having dinner outside on their deck, it makes us feel as if we are in Puerto Rico again.

I love their trumpet vine, drawing in hummingbirds while we eat.
