Hillsborough Winery

The nice thing about working on Saturdays is I get paid $1.50/hr extra, and I get off at 2:30, and then we still have the rest of Saturday and Sunday to enjoy each other. I had been wanting to try Hillsborough Winery for awhile now. It is about 40 minutes from our house but the view was totally worth the drive.

The landscaping and gardens were spectacular!

 The view was breath taking, and it was very romantic for Mr. B to treat me to a tasting, and sitting on the patio to have a light fare and a bottle of Rose. I am disappointed in their wines I would give them a rating of 3 stars (mainly for the ambiance). They only had 1 white (that was too dry), and the collection of reds were too tannic. The best red being the Onyx. The dessert wine made from 100% Viognier, was delicious and not too sweet, very smooth.
